Dr. NaTasha Woody-Wideman is an Atlanta native who comedically refers to herself as one of the last true "Georgia Peaches." A passionate advocate for educational excellence and equity, she has dedicated her career to improving outcomes for students, educators, and schools through innovative leadership, coaching, and professional learning.
Dr. Woody-Wideman has experience as an Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Director of School Services and Community Outreach, She has also worked as a university professor, teaching English Composition and Literature courses that equip students with the critical thinking, writing, and communication skills needed for success in college and beyond.
As the creator and facilitator of an Aspiring Leaders Cohort, Dr. Woody-Wideman mentors emerging school leaders through coaching, leadership development, and hands-on learning experiences. Her program is designed to build leadership capacity in the areas of instructional leadership, organizational culture, operations, and strategic decision-making, preparing participants to confidently lead schools and educational organizations.
Through WideMind Educational Consulting, Dr. Woody-Wideman partners with schools, districts, nonprofit organizations, and educational leaders to design customized solutions that strengthen instruction, improve organizational systems, and cultivate positive school cultures. Known for her engaging, high-energy facilitation style, she delivers professional learning experiences that are practical, interactive, and immediately applicable. Rather than relying on traditional lectures, she models effective practices, encourages meaningful reflection, and equips participants with strategies they can implement right away.
Dr. Woody-Wideman earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Relay Graduate School of Education National Principals Academy, a nationally recognized leadership development program for school leaders.
